George and Amal Clooney ‘planning to renew their wedding vows’
The pair married in a lavish Italian ceremony back in 2014 and recently welcomed twins Ella and Alexander last month, but now George and Amal are apparently planning to renew their marital virtues.
Speaking to Closer magazine, a source said: ‘Amal and George are even planning a welcome party for the twins on their third wedding anniversary, when they will also be renewing their vows in front of close family and friends.’
The couple’s original wedding was attended by a slew of famous faces, including Matt Damon, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Anna Wintour and Bono.
According to the insider, barrister Amal is also looking to step back from high-profile cases and turn her attention towards being a full-time mother
‘Amal’s had a change of heart about being a working mum,’ the source continued. ‘She’s made a vow to George that she’ll take an extended leave of maternity, plus pull out of dangerous cases and take on lower-profile work for a while.
‘She wants to be home as much as possible for the babies.’
George and Amal have yet to reveal pictures of their baby twins since their birth, but they fortunately gave their own parents a look-in via Skype.
